Gazan Beach Sand

This sand was carried out of Gaza by a Palestinian family evacuated in October of 2024. Relocated to the Netherlands, they were unable to bring it with them. Instead, they and a panel of Palestinian individuals voted for this sand to be divided in equal parts amongst the Palestinian diaspora and used to raise funds for those still surviving displacement from Gaza. 

To hold this is to hold something that crossed a border so a people wouldn’t be forgotten. 

We hope, one day, You can return this sand to Palestine. 

Proceeds (less 20% to keep this site and program going) go to VenDi Market’s Cause of the Quarter, Taybe to Table, supporting displaced Palestinians in Cairo with dignified groceries.
